Dr. Ashar Khan attended medical school at Jinnah Sindh Medical University followed by a residency in Psychiatry at the Mount Sinai Health System in New York. He has worked as a consultant/liaison at medical and surgical floors along with inpatient and outpatient psychiatric units in both public hospital systems and private practice. He is affiliated with Beaumont Hospital System in the Detroit Metro area. He is also part of the community faculty in the Department of Psychiatry at Michigan State University and a clinical assistant professor at Wayne State University.  

Dr. Khan is certified by the American board of Psychiatry and Neurology, American Board of Sleep Medicine, and American Board of Integrative Medicine.
